It's Monday, and have entered my last week of college class. It is weird to think that 5 years of school are over. Done. I should be excited for that next chapter...but it isn't as exciting as I feel it should be. High school to college was the most exciting - I had many more years to enjoy the 'young life' and not hit the full time work force...but now things are different.
All year I have been preparing for this week. But once that week comes - everything comes at once. I just signed up to be part of the MSU Alum email server...and I will become an alum of my sorority, Alpha Omicron Pi tonight at 8pm...it's like everything you always loved is ending. It's ending on a good note but either way its sudden. Getting out of that comfy spot in your life is tough anyway you look at it.
But bottom line, I am extremely blessed to have attended Michigan State University, to be the Vice President of my sorority, to have two AMAZING best friends for life, to have received incredible internships, to have loved someone and to be loved back, to have traveled across the U.S., to have danced though my entire college career, to have made people smile and laugh, and to know that it will only continue.
Recognizing your blessing and the beauty that lies is life and life's tiny details are what matters. I push myself to remain open to change and the exciting things change will bring me and anyone going though these things.
Cheers to You. Cheers to Life.
